Woocasino does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Woocasino is an offline sleep journal you fill in yourself — two times and a note in the morning, with the arithmetic done for you. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None reaches us. You type your own entries — when the lights went out, when you got up, how long it took to drop off, time spent awake in the night, how the morning felt, and which wind-down habits you kept — and every one of them is written only to this phone. There is no sign-up, no account, no profile and no upload. Nothing is read from Google Fit, Health Connect, a watch or any sensor: the app measures nothing and has no way to, so the only sleep data it holds is the sleep data you typed in yourself.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
None. The Android manifest declares no permissions at all — no internet, no storage, no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts and no notifications. Nothing is asked for at runtime, so there is no prompt to accept or refuse. The iOS build declares no usage descriptions either, for the same reason: there is nothing it would need them for.
The app contains no networking code — no HTTP client, no sockets, no background sync and no remote configuration. It behaves identically in aeroplane mode, which is how most people will use it at night. The one thing that leaves the app is the share button, and only when you press it: it hands a fixed sentence describing what the app is — containing none of your journal, no times, no ratings and no notes — to Android's own share sheet, and whichever app you then choose is what receives it.
No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no attribution and no in-app purchases are integrated. The third-party packages compiled into the build are ordinary Flutter UI and storage libraries — Provider for state, Hive CE and shared_preferences for local storage, fl_chart for drawing the charts, intl for formatting dates and numbers, and share_plus for the system share sheet. None of them contacts a server on the app's behalf, and none of them carries an advertising or analytics SDK.
The app is not directed at children and is intended for adults keeping their own sleep diary. Because nothing at all is collected from anyone, no personal information from a child under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live) can be collected either, which is what COPPA and GDPR-K are concerned with. There is no chat, no shared content and no advertising.
There is no account to access, correct, export or close, because no copy of your journal exists outside your phone. Everything saved can be removed at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling — either wipes the nights, the checklist history, the derived figures and the preferences for good. There is no backup on our side to restore from, so a deletion is final, and it is worth writing down anything you would want to show a doctor before you uninstall. Anything you want to ask about this policy goes to [email protected].
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
