# Aussie Play — Privacy

updated:2026-10-06 scope:on-device only tldr:Aussie Play does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. contact:[email protected]

// Aussie Play is a brick-breaker with forty hand-laid stages and an endless wall, played entirely on this device.

[01] Information collected // inputs

None. There is no sign-up, no account, no profile and no form anywhere in the app. Nothing you do is sent off the device, so nothing about you reaches the developer or anyone else. What the game remembers — how far you have got and how you like the paddle set up — is written to this phone's own storage and stays there.

[02] Local storage // on-device

Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:

  • Stage records: the best star rating you have managed on each stage, and how many attempts it has taken.
  • Daily play figures: bricks broken and time played, which is what the three-week chart and the streak are drawn from.
  • Emblems: which of the twelve you have earned.
  • Settings: paddle travel and lift, the ball trail on or off, auto-serve on or off, and the glyph you picked for yourself.
  • All of it sits in local Hive boxes and the platform's shared-preferences store inside the app's private sandbox, where no other app can read it.

Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.

[03] Permissions // runtime

None. The Android manifest declares no permissions at all — no internet, no storage, no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts and no notifications. Nothing is asked for at runtime, so there is no prompt to accept or refuse. The iOS build declares no usage descriptions either, for the same reason: there is nothing it would need them for.

[04] Network // egress

The app contains no networking code — no HTTP client, no sockets, no background sync and no remote configuration. It behaves identically in aeroplane mode. The one thing that leaves the app is the share button, and only when you press it: it hands a short sentence naming the game and how many stages you have cleared to Android's own share sheet, and whichever app you then choose — a messenger, mail, the clipboard — is what receives it. The game itself never sends it anywhere.

[05] Third parties // vendors

No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no attribution and no in-app purchases are integrated. The third-party packages compiled into the build are ordinary Flutter UI and storage libraries — Provider for state, Hive CE and shared_preferences for local storage, fl_chart for drawing the charts, intl for formatting dates and numbers, and share_plus for the system share sheet. None of them contacts a server on the app's behalf, and none of them carries an advertising or analytics SDK.

[06] Children // coppa/gdpr-k

The game is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children in particular. Because nothing at all is collected from anyone, no personal information from a child under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live) can be collected either, which is what COPPA and GDPR-K are concerned with. There is no chat, no user-generated content and no advertising.

[07] Your rights // you

There is no account to access, correct, export or close, because no copy of anything exists outside your phone. Everything saved can be removed at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling — either wipes the stage records, the daily figures, the emblems and the settings for good. There is no backup on our side to restore from, so a deletion is final. Anything you want to ask about this policy goes to [email protected].

[08] Changes // changelog

If this policy changes, the updated field at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
